I’m Dr Lauren Kita – Psychologist (PhD) and Yoga Therapist. Using mind-body practices, I help people struggling with stress / low self-esteem / anxiety / depression / insomnia to feel empowered, healthy, fulfilled, confident, and at peace with themselves.
Ultimately, all of us are looking for greater happiness, vitality, meaning joy and connectedness. Yet many of us simply lose sight of the bigger picture of our lives, finding ourselves trapped in the mundane, and repeating negative cycles of behaviour.
The reality is, you can’t change other people, you can only change yourself. When you are at your best, you are naturally a better partner / boss / friend / parent / child. Change starts with you.
Through Yoga Therapy, Mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I can help you to find inner peace, improve your health and start taking inspired actions towards what matters.
Lauren is an expert in her field, professional, friendly, patient, and completely approachable. I trusted her instinctively from the moment she phoned me in response to my enquiry and meeting her in person only reinforced that first impression.
I am sleeping better than I have done in years and at long last, I have some answers and some techniques to help me keep it that way. My only regret is that nobody pointed me in Lauren’s direction sooner!
